Three week progress report
I am happy to report that I am currently surpassing my goal. My goal was to write an average of 5,000 words a week but I have been writing more like 6,200 words. Yay!! This is the most words I've written consistently...ever.
For me though, it has meant no reading :( I have been treating my book like a book that I would normally read. Whenever I would normally pick up a book and curl up on the couch, I have been opening THE document and working on my book. The best part about that for me is that my book is in my head all the time. I think about it constantly so it is easy to pick it up when I begin working on it and the words flow more easily. Also, I love my book right now and am so excited to the story unfold. YAY! I can't wait to finish my draft so I can reward myself with reading!
Anyhoo, that's where I'm at three weeks in. I hope everyone else is making great progress on their goals. If I can do it, you can do it!
